CodeRED Exploration will feature two tracks: Internet of Things and Augmented / Virtual Reality. Teams can submit their projects to one of these tracks for a chance to win one of the great prizes for that track. Even if the project does not fall under a particular track, the team will have a chance to take home the general prize.

See our website for more information at uhcode.red

Judging Criteria

  • Innovation
Was the project like nothing you have seen before? Did it use a particularly clever technique? Did it use many different components in a unique way? Did the technology involved make you go "Wow"?
  • Design
Did the team put thought into the user experience? How well designed is the interface; is it creative? For a website, this might be about how beautiful it is. For a hardware project, it might be more about how good the human-computer interaction is.
  • Implementation
Does the project work? Did the team achieve everything they wanted? Was this the most optimal way to solve this problem?
  • Application
What are the real-life applications of this project? What are the short-term and long-term benefits of this project? How would this effect society?
  • Presentation
How well is the project presented to the judges? Are the goals and achievements of the project clearly explained? Was the presentation professional and engaging? Did it make you want to invest in the product?
